As part of its corporate social responsibility initiative, Vulcanic the company invited its employees to participate in a charitable initiative to benefit the Food Bank, a major player in the fight against food insecurity in France.
Every year, the Food Bank organizes a national collection of food, hygiene products, and basic necessities. This charitable event alone accounts for nearly 10% of the Food Banks' annual supplies and is an essential lever for helping the most disadvantaged people.
Concrete and united action
Participating in this collection means taking concrete action against food insecurity. Whether through donating essential items, volunteering on the ground, or making a financial contribution online, every gesture counts. The involvement of volunteers has a direct impact on supporting the 2.4 million people assisted each year by the Food Bank network.
Beyond the assistance provided, this initiative is also a wonderful opportunity for sharing and meeting others, reinforcing the values of solidarity and mutual aid that are so dear to us.
An initiative led by our employees
This year, the event took place on Friday, November 28, at several supermarkets. Three employees from Vulcanic represented the company at the Super U in Neuilly-sur-Marne.
Thanks to their commitment and the generosity of donors, 46 boxes of products were collected in a single day. We are particularly proud of this result, which demonstrates the effectiveness of collective engagement.
Vulcanic extends its warmest thanks to all participants and volunteers for their dedication. Together, let’s continue to work toward a more compassionate society.
