The Environment Collective works to protect pollinators
As part of its environmental initiative and commitment to biodiversity, the Collectif Environnement recently carried out another concrete action on the site by planting shrubs and bulbs that are beneficial to pollinating insects.
Bees, butterflies, and other pollinators play a vital role in maintaining the balance of ecosystems. To help protect them, several nectar-producing plant species have been selected for their ability to provide nectar, pollen, shelter, and food sources throughout the year.
Improvements that benefit biodiversity and the work environment
In addition to their ecological benefits, these plantings also help improve the work environment for employees by bringing more greenery, landscape diversity, and environmental quality to the site.
The shrubs planted include, among others:
- Guelder rose (Viburnum opulus)
- Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna)
- Common hazel (Corylus avellana)
- Red osier dogwood (Cornus sanguinea)
- Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa)
- Bird cherry / Whitebeam (Sorbus aucuparia)
A long-term commitment
This initiative demonstrates the Collectif Environnement’s commitment to balancing biodiversity conservation, workplace improvement, and sustainable development.
By creating habitats that are conducive to pollinators, these initiatives help boost local biodiversity while providing a more pleasant and vibrant environment for all employees.
