Vulcanic Neuilly Employees Committed to Animal Welfare
As part of its commitment to the community, a team of employees from Vulcanic Neuilly participated in a day of volunteer work at the Villevaudé animal shelter (Seine-et-Marne), which is managed by the Fondation Assistance aux Animaux, France’s oldest foundation dedicated to animal protection.
Ahead of the event, Carole and Élodie organized a drive to collect blankets and toys from the site’s employees in order to make the dogs and cats at the shelter more comfortable.
Over the course of two half-days, Jean-Pierre, Laurence, Mohamed, Jérémy, Élodie, Carole, and Nicolas carried out several practical projects to improve the shelter’s facilities: renovating two kennels, replacing the lighting, installing a workbench for preparing the animals’ meals, landscaping the memorial garden, and donating galvanized buckets and coat racks for storing leashes and collars.
Thanks to this effort, Vulcanic’s volunteers have helped improve the animals’ daily lives and made the work of the shelter staff easier; every year, the shelter takes in hundreds of abandoned or abused animals.
This initiative reflects the values that drive the Group: respect, responsibility, solidarity, and teamwork.
A big thank you to Jean-Pierre, Laurence, Mohamed, Jérémy, Élodie, Carole, and Nicolas for their dedication and generosity!
