Vulcanic donates IT equipment to Emmaüs to support digital inclusion
As part of its commitment to society, Vulcanic has made a donation of IT equipment to Emmaüs, in support of its solidarity initiatives for people in difficulty. This gesture is in line with our desire to give a second life to our equipment, while helping to reduce the digital divide.
A concrete commitment to fighting digital exclusion
When Vulcanic recently renewed its IT equipment, it decided to donate some of the equipment that was still in working order to Emmaüs. This equipment can then be reconditioned, reused or redistributed to people supported by the movement.
This equipment will play an essential role in enabling future users to carry out administrative procedures, access employment, follow training courses or stay connected to their loved ones.
A strong social and environmental impact
By giving a second life to these appliances, Vulcanic contributes to :
- Reduce electronic waste, by avoiding the disposal of equipment that is still useful.
- Support the work of Emmaüs, which works daily with people in precarious situations.
- Fight the digital divide, by facilitating access to high-performance IT tools.
A long-term approach
This donation illustrates Vulcanic's commitment to integrating responsible and supportive practices into its business activities. Other initiatives are currently being studied to strengthen our social and environmental contribution.
