Finned heating elements

Significantly improved heat dissipation thanks to the increased surface area provided by the finned design.
Specific surface load up to three times higher than that of a conventional round tubular heating element.
Version with brazed fins.
Suitable for air conditioning in rail vehicles.

Application:
High power density in a very small space subject to severe mechanical stresses (vibrations and shocks).

Design types:
Slats measure 25 mm x 50 mm for tube diameters of 8.5 mm and 10.2 mm.
Slats measure 40 mm x 70 mm for tube diameters of 8.5 mm, 10.2 mm, and 16 mm.

For installations requiring high resistance to high voltage—particularly in rail applications—special insulating components are available.
