On October 18, 2025, a large-scale fire department drill took place at our site. Response teams from across the Sonneberg district as well as from Neustadt participated.

The simulated scenario: a fire in the administrative building with three people missing. After the building was evacuated from the inside, these individuals were rescued by firefighters using a turntable ladder. In addition, the site’s water supply was tested, and any hazardous substances present were secured.

The exercise lasted approximately 2.5 hours and was designed to test and improve emergency response and rescue procedures. We would like to thank all participating response teams for their dedication.
