As part of this program, participants (m/f/d) first complete a traditional dual-track training program (on-the-job training at a company and classroom instruction at a vocational school) and take the IHK exam after just 3 years.

Starting in their second year of training, they begin their studies at a college and further develop their practical skills within the company during periods when they are not in class. Ideally, they earn their bachelor’s degree after about 4.5 years.

To ensure a long-term supply of skilled workers, we offer work-study programs in partnership with the universities of applied sciences in Schmalkalden and Coburg.
