In the shipping department, they plan delivery routes and determine the most cost-effective shipping method. They prepare orders, pack goods, and prepare accompanying documents such as delivery slips or customs declarations. They also load trucks, containers, or rail cars, operate forklifts, and secure cargo to prevent it from shifting.
