Industrial mechanics (m/f/d) organize and monitor production processes and ensure that manufacturing machines and systems are operational. They assemble machines or entire systems, install and network them, and then commission them. Maintenance and repair of production facilities and technical systems are also part of their responsibilities. To do this, they select measuring instruments, identify the causes of malfunctions, and, for example, replace defective components or wear parts, check bearings, and tighten screws. If necessary, they also manufacture replacement parts themselves using CNC machines.
